Personal Information We Collect
Your IP address is used to help identify and log your session information. We use cookies to deliver content specific to your interests, to save passwords so no re-entry is required each time you visit our site, and for other Web browser related purposes.
When completing a contact form or when registering for a free download of the WAND General Business Taxonomy for SharePoint, this site collects business name, business phone number, business address, business URL, business fax, business email address, contact person email address, contact person job title, and contact person name. All information is collected via a form which the registrant voluntarily fills out.
Purpose of Collecting Personal Information
Personal information is collected for purpose of processing a request to be contacted by WAND, for purposes of processing a request to register for a WAND webinar or to receive some other piece of WAND collateral. Once collected, this information is used to provide ongoing communications and information about WAND products and services.
Paid users of WAND products will be issued login credentials based upon their business email address. This is necessary to provide access to the WAND Taxonomy Library. We may track user behavior within our applications for purpose of providing better features and capabilities, dashboards and reporting, and bug identification and tracking.

Salesforce and Ascend
WAND, Inc uses Salesforce as our CRM and Ascend for our marketing automation. We use these tools to manage our customer database and help communicate information about our offerings. When clients interact with us, either by downloading any of our taxonomies or marketing materials, sending us an inquiry, or meeting us in person at a conference or trade show, we may place your data into our Salesforce CRM. This may include contact name, contact email, phone, fax, company name, and job title.
We use Ascend to send emails to members of our mailing list. On occasion, we send newsletters, holiday cards, or other communications. We also have several automated drip campaigns that send periodic emails with content and information that we think will be valuable based on interactions we have had with you or based upon products you have downloaded. You may opt-out of these messages at any time by clicking on the subscription preferences link at the bottom of every Ascend email we send. You can also opt-out and request that we delete your information by following the opt-out procedures below.
