WAND Within
Taxonomies are a critical component of many information management solutions.
WAND's curated taxonomies are now available for download within a number of enterprise applications! Applications like Expert.ai, OpenText, PoolParty, Microsoft, and many others, can now be used with WAND's Taxonomies to improve their capabilities. WAND formats our curated taxonomies for direct import into over 100 enterprise applications. The barriers of creating taxonomies from scratch which have previously caused significant delays to enterprise content management projects have been eliminated, and the time to value for knowledge management projects can be reduced by up to 90%.

In March of 2022, WAND Inc. and the Semantic Web Company (SWC) announced a new partnership that brings together WAND's curated taxonomies with SWC's semantic middleware for taxonomy and graph-based solutions.
SWC's flagship product, the PoolParty Semantic Suite, is a globally recognized semantic software for building and managing taxonomies, ontologies, and controlled vocabularies. Taxonomists who currently use PoolParty champion it for having a "user-friendly interface that creates a seamless process for onboarding users to build and manage taxonomies. It integrates well with text mining features that help to enhance the taxonomy."
The partnership between WAND and SWC creates a unique opportunity for organizations to easily kickstart their taxonomy management processes. Customers of PoolParty Semantic Suite can integrate WAND's prebuilt taxonomies into the PoolParty Thesaurus Server, providing an extensive framework for the initial design of their taxonomies. Upon import of the taxonomies, users can revise or add new terms in PoolParty with the additional benefit of creating semantic concepts; here, users can package terms with preferred labels, synonyms, alternative labels, and multilingual equivalents.
WAND's prebuilt, specialized taxonomies drastically reduce customers' efforts to design a taxonomy, and PoolParty's user-friendly interface facilitates easy taxonomy maintenance and scalability. Together, WAND and the Semantic Web Company allow not only precise customization of business taxonomies improved organization of unstructured and semi-unstructured information, but offer an array of techniques to build additional semantic knowledge models such as ontologies, automated tagging workflows, knowledge graphs, and semantic search engines.
More information about PoolParty taxonomy management can be found on the PoolParty website.

As a Microsoft Partner since 2010, WAND, Inc.'s taxonomies speed up time to delivery for your Microsoft projects. WAND's taxonomies can integrate into Microsoft SharePoint, SharePoint Syntex, and Microsoft Viva Topics. Check out a description of each of the applications below.
SharePoint is a collaboration system that employs workflow applications as well as list-type databases and other web parts to empower teams to work together. With Microsoft SharePoint on your PC, Mac, or mobile device, you can build intranet sites and create pages, document libraries, and lists; add web parts to customize your content; show important visuals, news, and updates with a team or communication site; discover, follow, and search for sites, files, and people across your company; manage your daily routine with workflows, forms, and lists; sync and store your files in the cloud so anyone can securely work with you; and catch up on news on-the-go with the mobile app.
SharePoint Syntex
Microsoft SharePoint Syntex uses advanced AI and machine teaching to amplify human expertise, automate content processing, and transform content into knowledge.
Content Understanding: Create AI models that capture expertise to classify and extract information to automatically apply metadata
Content Processing: Automate, capture, ingestion, and categorization of content of streamline content-centric processes using Power Automate.
Content Compliance: Connect and manage content to improve security and compliance.
Viva Topics helps to address a key business issue in many companies –– providing the information to users when they need it. For example, new employees need to learn a lot of new information quickly, and encounter terms they know nothing about when reading through company information. To learn more, the user might need to step away from what they are doing and spend valuable time searching for details, such as information about what the term is, who in the organization is a subject matter expert, and maybe sites and documents that are related to the term.
Viva Topics uses AI to automatically search for and identify topics in your organization. It compiles information about them, such as a short description, people working on the topic, and sites, files, and pages that are related to it. A knowledge manager or contributor can choose to update the topic information as needed. The topics are available to your users, which means that for every instance of the topic that appears in a modern SharePoint site in news and pages, the text will be highlighted. Users can choose to select the topic to learn more about it through the topic details. Topics can also be found in SharePoint Search.

OpenText™ offers solutions in an integrated and flexible Information Management platform to enable intelligent, connected and secure organizations. With Magellan™ Text Mining, unleash the information advantage through solutions including Search+, Content Enrichment and Smart Migration.
Magellan Search+
A cognitive search solution that unlocks dark data across the organization to help consumers of knowledge find what they are looking for, with an ease and flow that boosts efficiency and fosters productivity.
The volume of content that enterprise organizations store and manage is exploding and users are less tolerant of inadequate search results. Research shows these users suffer from 8.2 hours per week of unproductive work. Magellan Search+ is a solution that offers semantically relevant content based on taxonomies, such as those available through WAND, to increase the content's searchable value and make it more relevant. Bolstered with a user friendly interface and intuitive content suggestions –– the semantic search engine does the heavy lifting so users can get to the content they need.
With OpenText Magellan Text Mining under the hood, Search+ quickly and inexpensively accesses and analyzes billions of pages of textual content, internal documents, emails, social media, web pages and more. It uses powerful algorithms to analyze that content, determine what a given piece of text is about and assess its relevance to what users intend to find.
Magellan Content Enrichment
Enterprise content is core to any organization, yet the tasks of managing and maintaining valuable content can be monumental. The cure to information overload is "more information". Magellan Content Enrichment automatically extracts metadata from all the content and enriches information management repositories. The content has suddenly increased in value, information is more findable, documents are more useable, and processes are aligned with compliance standards.
With Magellan Content Enrichment, the Text Mining engine performs the analysis of content in place, returning back with it additional semantic metadata tags that are relevant to that piece of content. WAND Taxonomies can provide the right contextual fit, aiding in the management of an organization's information.
Magellan Smart Migration
Speed up the migration of information by classifying content, facilitating a richer and more accurate migration process, minimizing risks of delay and error.
As organizations carry out their digital transition, moving documents from multiple silos to a consolidated target data repository always poses several challenges. Smart Migration services allow organizations to retrieve, analyze, structure, visualize and move the content from any source set of repositories to target future repositories using semantic metadata, such as classification tags available through WAND Taxonomies. These help bring structure to the unstructured. OpenText's Magellan platform combines text mining and business intelligence technologies to alleviate the typical pains around having to sift and sort through content prior to a migration. Adding over 30-years of experience in data migration, the OpenText Professional Services deliver smart migrations to accelerate your digital transformation.
