Meet the Team!
Ross Leher, Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer
Ross has a background that includes international commerce, trade, and retailing, and has a proven record of growing innovative businesses in highly competitive markets. For 25 years, he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Robert Waxman Inc., the fifth largest camera retailer in the United States with over $50 million in annual sales. Robert Waxman, Inc., in business for over 38 years, was recognized as a leader in its business segment and for its success in innovating and applying new information technologies to facilitate sales and commerce. He was responsible for expanding Robert Waxman, Inc. beyond a successful retail camera operation into new areas that provided the underpinning for WAND. During his executive tenure at Robert Waxman Inc., Ross and his staff began the development of WAND products and technologies in 1982. Ross is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Economics.
Kay Fair, Taxonomist
Kay has been building WAND Taxonomies for nearly 10 years, improving the findability of information assets. Prior to that, she was a member of the Cherry Creek School District Board of Education in Greenwood Village, Colorado. Kay graduated from the University of Colorado with degrees in History and English. She later earned a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Denver.
Eduardo Heidrich, Lead Software Engineer
Eduardo has been working in software development for over 15 years, acting directly in coding, reviewing program functionality, establishing system improvements, and managing teams. He has a background in startup and experience playing different roles within software teams, and dealing with management and customers. He has a bachelor's degree in Information Systems from Santa Catarina Federal University and an MBA from FGV.
Shawna Pratt, Marketing Director
Shawna has been working in marketing since she graduated college, bringing value straight to the customers via digital resources and social media. Shawna sees that taxonomies and ontologies are a tool that every organization needs to take their business to the next level of success. Shawna holds a BS in Marketing from Calvary University.
